Spring break please!!!

We're only a few days away from our last break until SUMMER!!!

On Friday we had our production of The Three Little Wolves and the big bad Pig!

We have our next field trip to the Louisville Science Center this Thursday!!! Friday we will have our Spring Egg hunt! Please send in eggs filled with candy by Wednesday!!

Also, in order to spice up homework time, I'm attaching a link of spelling activities that your child may choose as opposed to our normal routine. If your child does one of these simply write it in their agenda so they receive credit for practicing their words for the day.

This Friday we have our primary awards for the third nine weeks. Awards begin at 7:45. At the completion of awards we will return to our room to present our play "The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig."

Parents are welcome to come see our play!

Those pesky Leprechauns

We tried out best, but we couldn't catch a leprechaun!! He sure made a mess of our room though!!! See pictures if our adventure below!!!

Leprechaun Traps!!!!!

With St. Patrick's day about 2 weeks away I wanted to give our friends plenty of time to work on their Leprechaun traps to be used the week of the 14th.

Students should build a trap at home with the help of their family. Bring the trap to school by Wednesday, March 13th. We will set the traps on Thusday the 14th to see if we can catch any pesky Leprechauns!

I am attaching some pictures of Leprechaun traps I have found online to give you and idea or inspiration. This promises to be another fun and exciting day for our firsties!

Sweetness!

We had a WONDERFUL Valentines day! Thanks to all the parents who sent in items for our ice cream social. We had a great time. We also loved filling our Valentine Mailboxes and sharing in all the splendidness the day had to offer!
