Spelling

Each week you child will have spelling words. Your child should practice their words each night. Below you can see what they should do each night as practice.

Monday: Rainbow Writing (Student will write the word with a crayon, and trace over it twice with two different colored crayons.)
Tuesday: Triangle Writing (see below)

Wednesday: Create a sentence with each spelling word.
Thursday: Parents give a "pre-test." Each word missed should be written three times each.
 Friday: No Spelling homework! Look for your child's graded spelling test!!!

If your child would rather practice their words in a different way than listed above, Here is a link to a neat website with spelling homework choices! Just sign your child's agenda saying they completed an activity so they get homework credit!
